eni AQUAMET 85 is a semi-synthetic emulsifiable cooling-lubrication lubricant with excellent technological properties. It has superior performance in the processing of medium and high hardness materials on individual machines and on centralized installations and systems.

* Transparent emulsion.

* Does not contain nitrites, triazine biocides, secondary amines and chlorine.

* Good finish of machined surfaces.

* High resistance to bacterial degradation.

* Specially formulated for ferrous materials and cast iron.

* Used with medium/high hardness water (15...40°F; 1°F= 10 mgCaCO3/1d m ³ water).

Uses:

eni AQUAMET 85 is recommended for grinding, turning, milling, drilling and boring operations on ferrous materials and aluminum and its alloys.

Also recommended for pipe manufacturing.

The table below presents, for information purposes, the expected concentrations; depending on the severity of the cutting process, these may be modified.

NOTE:

To obtain the best results, the following recommendations should be followed:

• before preparing the emulsion, clean and sterilize the tank and circuits with appropriate detergents and bactericides;

• prepare the emulsion using, if possible, a stirrer;

• in the case of manual mixing, it is recommended to add the concentrate over water to prevent the appearance of an unstable emulsion;

• to prevent product damage due to sudden temperature variations or as a result of placing containers in an unfavorable atmosphere, it is recommended to store the product in closed containers, at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.
