Blasia 220 - 20 L

The eni BLASIA series of lubricants has been formulated to meet the wide range of requirements imposed by EP (extreme pressure) lubrication, such as the lubrication of gears operating under severe operating conditions (according to ISO-LCKD classification). These lubricants are formulated with paraffinic base oils and additives with sulfur compounds (which ensure good operation at high speeds and shock loads) and with phosphorus compounds (for low speeds and high loads). As a result, these lubricants meet a wide range of operating requirements.

Properties and performances:

* eni BLASIA lubricants have very good anti-wear and EP properties, demonstrated by the results obtained under test conditions on the stands:

- FZG - pass the 12th loading stage;

- TIMKEN

- OK LOAD: 60 lbs;

- 4 balls (EP): 1100 N maximum load without seizure; 2800 N welding load.

* Oils also have the following properties:

- high thermal and oxidation stability, allowing continuous use in operation at temperatures higher than 100 °C;

- they are not corrosive to materials commonly used in the manufacture of machinery, especially those used for sealing gaskets, but also to metals such as steel, cast iron, copper and their alloys;

- good demulsification, so that eni BLASIA oils, by quickly separating water, ensure perfect lubrication, even in applications where water contamination is possible, such as in steel mills;

- excellent anti-rust properties, so that these oils ensure effective protection and preservation of lubricated components even in high humidity conditions;

- toxicity: these products are not toxic because they do not contain lead compounds (additives), and can thus also be used in "oil mist" type lubrication systems.

Uses:

* eni BLASIA oils are recommended in circulation, bubble or oil mist lubrication systems, for all types of enclosed gears, especially when operating conditions involve high loads and speeds, as well as high operating and/or ambient temperatures.

* The oils can also be used to lubricate various machine parts subjected to high loads, such as: couplings, screw transmissions, low-speed guides. They are also indicated in oil mist lubrication systems.
