eni i-Sigma top 10W-40 is a special lubricant, designed for diesel engines operating under extremely severe conditions and guarantees a significant reduction in fuel consumption. It ensures long periods of use between replacement intervals provided by manufacturers. The oil is recommended for most diesel engines and, in particular, for Scania engines.

• The superior qualities of the base oils and the high content of additives used to formulate the eni i-Sigma top 10W-40 product ensure that the oil has a very long service life between changes.

• The SAE 10W-40 viscosity grade allows eni i-Sigma top 10W-40 oil to be used all year round, ensuring easy starts at low temperatures.

• Through its detergent-dispersant properties, combined with a very high capacity to neutralize acidic products resulting from combustion, the oil ensures excellent piston cleanliness and keeps solid products resulting from combustion in suspension, thus preventing the formation of dangerous deposits.

• eni i-Sigma top 10W-40 has good resistance to degradation, especially oxidative, which can be caused by prolonged exposure to high operating temperatures in the presence of air and other agents. Through its antioxidant, anti-corrosion and anti-wear properties, the oil ensures long periods of use between changes, under severe engine stress conditions. Reduced oxidative degradation prevents viscosity variations. As a result, wear on the metal components of the engine is reduced, which can thus be used at maximum efficiency throughout its life.
