eni Rotra MP are EP (Extreme Pressure) lubricants recommended for hypoid gears operating under severe conditions and, in general, for gears with very high demands and which are subjected, in particular, to dynamic loads. They can be used in gears of passenger cars and commercial vehicles, as well as in gearboxes, final drives and power transmissions of agricultural and construction machinery. They can therefore be used for all gear transmissions for which manufacturers recommend the API GL – 5 performance level.

• The superior properties of EP additives ensure a continuous lubricating film between the teeth of gears operating under severe conditions, under dynamic and shock loads or under conditions of intermittent sliding speeds between the teeth.

• Their superior anti-wear and adsorbent properties significantly reduce wear on gear teeth and bearings.

• Good oxidation stability prevents oil degradation even in contact with components operating at high temperatures. As a result, the tendency for viscosity increase and the formation of degradation products is reduced. eni Rotra MP can thus be used for long drain periods, according to the manufacturers' specifications.

• eni Rotra MP does not corrode steel, copper and other metals and alloys, thus ensuring that lubricated components are maintained in optimal conditions.

• Their anti-rust properties prevent rusting of gears and bearings even in the presence of moisture.

• Thanks to its anti-foaming properties, the appearance of air bubbles that affect the continuity of the lubricating film is prevented.
