eni EXIDIA HG lubricants have been developed specifically for the lubrication of machine tool guides. The oils are formulated from a paraffinic base in which anti-rust and anti-stickslip additives have been incorporated (to prevent jerky movement).

* eni EXIDIA HG lubricants ensure the lubrication of machine tool guides, eliminating intermittent slippage (jerky movement) and vibrations that would affect the machining accuracy of the part and the durability of the cutting tools.

* The special additives used influence the static and dynamic friction coefficients in such a way that the "stick-slip" phenomenon is eliminated and a normal and precise operation of the machine tools is ensured in accordance with the allowed tolerance limits.

* Their formulation has been developed to ensure effective anti-rust protection and good demulsification, especially for grinding machines where aqueous solutions are used as cutting fluids.

* EXIDIA HG lubricants meet the requirements of the Cincinnati Milacron thermal stability test. This test highlights the resistance of oils to sludge and deposit formation as well as the absence of corrosion on steel, copper and their alloys.

* The high viscosity index ensures these products have excellent performance over a wide range of operating temperatures.

* eni EXIDIA HG lubricants have good high load resistance properties. The total weight loss of the pump components in the Vickers test is around 27 mg and therefore grades 32 and 68 can also be used as hydraulic fluids in the operation of modern machine tools.
